WENATCHEE WILD HOCKEY BOOSTER CLUB MEETING MINUTES
November 16th, 2023, scheduled 6:30pm
Town Toyota Center, Wenatchee, WA

Meeting called to order at 6:30pm by President Marcie Johnston, using a newly acquired official cowbell. Minutes from October 19th meeting were approved, with note to identify Grocery Outlet as East Wenatchee Grocery Outlet.
Treasury report – Treasurer Jon Johnston has created itemized spreadsheets for current fiscal year (June-May), with columns for total dollar amount for each item sold (buttons, raffles, etc), in order to better track what makes money and what does not. The most recent big ticket item, the Veteran’s Day themed wood sculpture, made 705.00, with display at 4 games. As of 11/16/2023, the bank balance was 18,358.17.
Committee Reports- Eric Tweedy and Fran Butterfield reported the most recent basket, a His and Hers fan theme for the 11/14 game,netted 82.00.
Tim Butterfield noted 3 new members had joined the club – Tammy Hill, Mark Hill, and Jake Barker, family plan.
Linda Marsh inventoried items needed for the upcoming bus trips, and suggestions on the best places to purchase.
Buz Elshire has completed a sponsor spreadsheet to better track yearly activity. It will be uploaded to the Gmail drive for all member access, and emailed with November minutes.
New Business – Eric Tweedy suggested raising 50/50 ticket prices from 1.00 to 5.00, and possibly a tiered price point (for example 5 tickets for $20). Members present agreed, with earliest date being January. Notices will be posted at Booster Club table to bring attention to the price change.
President Marcie Johnston presented proposals for future fan bus trips through Wenatchee Valley Shuttle. Cost to club would be 3300.00 for 55 passengers, with 825.00 deposit, and a 24 hour cancellation policy (loss of deposit.) First trip tentatively scheduled for Sunday, January 21st, 2024, Seattle Thunderbirds, based on response. Ruby Tweedy will make flyers for the Booster Club table with trip details. Per person rates set at 100.00 for active club members, 125.00 for non active members, and 150.00 for general public, which includes ticket to game and bus travel to and from ShoWare Center, Kent.
Old Business – The Veteran’s Day statue purchased by the Johnstons was donated to the club.
Meeting adjourned at 7:20pm, next meeting set for December 14th, 6:30pm, a week earlier than usual due to Christmas holiday.
