Old Business ~
Changes to bylaws~
Section 3.03 Members in Good Standing ~ must participate in no less than 3 tasks, any combination. ~sign up for game set up, work table during game, goody bag assembly, and attend 3 meetings. Families count as one unit, not all family members must do minimum number of tasks.
Section 5.03 Term Limits ~ For President, Vice President, Secretary and Members At Large, changed from limit of 4 terms, to unlimited, as long as Booster Club voting members approve, and no one else steps up.
Section 5.04 Members running for Executive Board ~ changed to family members can be voted onto board, but only one has access to bank account/signs checks.
Linda Marsh motioned to approve bylaw changes, Tim Butterfield seconded.
Club will be skipping yard sale this year.
New Business ~
Current board members were OK’d to remain for another year, per members in attendance.
President Marcie Johnston, Vice President Tim Butterfield, Treasurer Jon Johnston, and Secretary Shari Alexander.
April meeting with Gretchen Littler ~ Team has to pay the TTC for storage privileges, finding a spot for Booster Club gear will need to be brought up to Mark Miller, GM for TTC. Gretchen will address discontinuing 50/50 admin fee with Bliss Littler. David Rayfield will make more Booster Club announcements on ice next season, as well as work on better timing for PA announcements. Ticket vouchers for sponsors will need to be documented better this season – names and how many.
Some ideas for team and club member interaction included a BBQ, pumpkin painting, a Christmas ornament or wreath crafting event, and a once a month team dinner. Having 2-3 team members attend Booster Club meetings was met with great interest by members attending,
A team signed jersey will be this year’s end of season raffle, jersey was purchased at cost, 89.00.
President Marcie has young people interested in interning for Booster Club, that would cut down on the number of Booster Club members that need to attend merch table/50/50 during game time.
Kimber McLaughlin, Wenatchee Wild Media & Merchandiser, may be able to create a 50/50 banner, need to check pricing.
One idea for 3 Stars Of The Game ~ present player with a medal, with date and first/second/third star noted.
Booster Club Snapchat and Instagram accounts will be set up by Austin Draude, and club members Jordyn Murray and Jarod Fillion would be approached to take over and post content.
A tentative 2024-2025 budget (attached) was presented, based upon past year’s expenses. After looking at what made the most profit, it was decided the club would cut back on the cup merchandise, and focus more on buttons, with suggestions to push personalized ones and maybe purchase a machine for bigger buttons (5 inch). More ideas for merchandise always welcome.
Discussions are ongoing regarding sending goody bags for all out of town games,(day trips), or overnight/multi game road trips.
Next meeting set for June 20th, 6:30pm, Town Toyota Center. Adjourned at 7:17pm.
