WENATCHEE WILD HOCKEY BOOSTER CLUB MEETING MINUTES

November 21st  2024, 6:30pm, Town Toyota Center, Wenatchee, WA 

President Marcie Johnston called the meeting to order at 6:34pm. Minutes from October meeting approved.

Treasurer Report~ Jon Johnston reported current bank balance at $20,348.20

Committee Reports~

Buz Elshire – no new sponsors to add, has been in contact with Dizzy D’s. 

Linda Marsh – Goody bags for all November trips have been filled, always accepting food/cash donations. Fruit cups, trail mix, corn nuts, meat sticks, Mott’s, Skinny Pop, Hi Chews and Goldfish crackers are on approved snack list.

Old Business ~

68 tickets to date have been sold for the T-shirt quilt, made and donated by Linda Marsh. Drawing to be held 12/6.

It was decided after a brief discussion to present player info boards to the players at the end of year banquet.

Reminder for the 12/2 team wreath making event ~ wreaths to be raffled at 12/6 game.

New Business ~

Request by Buz to provide self addressed stamped envelope to give to sponsors. Motion passed to purchase return address stamp for PO Box 1038.

New Booster Club member Chris Gooch introduced. He was thanked for all of his help with upper level 50/50 sales. 

Open Floor ~

Because events at the Town Toyota Center have increased, so has the noise level during Booster Club meetings. An alternate site was suggested, 1124 North Miller, and members present agreed to move future meetings to that site. 

Next meeting set for December 19th, 6:30pm, Alpha Media, 1124 North Miller. Adjourned at 6:58pm
